Eli Hiller is a visual storyteller current based in southeast Ohio. He is currently a senior at Ohio University studying for a Bachelor's of Science in Visual Communication and Geography. Visual storytelling is how he shares the world's moments, but he understands the world through the lens of a geographer. He believes overarching economic, political, and cultural structures have a major effect on individuals autonomy and fate.

He is a native of Athens, Ohio, but frequently traveled to Central America throughout his childhood. He has grown accustom to Latin American culture and is a fluent Spanish speaker. He dreams of documenting socioeconomic and environmental issues in the Global South and hopes to empower communities whose well beings have been exploited through acts of colonialism, globalization, capitalism and dictatorship.
